William B "Terry" Langford has been working as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MT959) in Central Florida for more than 30 years. His extensive experience includes private practice, church based counseling, and adult and adolescent inpatient hospital settings. He has done consulting, training, critical incident stress debriefing, and corporate team building. At one time he facilitated team- building using a low and high ropes course. Terry is the creator of Celebrate Family, an event for families incorporating “edutainment” designed to strengthen families. His work with the military as a Marriage and Family Life Consultant has taken him to various military bases around the world. Terry's varied experiences working with adults, adolescents, and children throughout the years gives him a rich background of wisdom.
Nancy Langford has maintained a part-time private practice the past 25 plus years while raising and homeschooling their five children. Her background before becoming a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (MH2413) includes teaching 3rd - 5th grades and elementary school guidance counselor. Nancy is a natural teacher and brings that into her counseling, especially with her work with parents, children, and teens. She also enjoys working with individuals and couples as they work through difficulties in their lives. A few years ago Nancy and Terry went through extensive training with TBRI (trust-based relational intervention,) the parenting approach which works in bringing healing in relationships through connection, and especially in adoptive and foster families. Nancy's passion and strengths make her an insightful and compassionate counselor.
Terry and Nancy have been married 39 years and have five children; two daughters adopted domestically, two sons by birth, one son adopted internationally, one daughter-in-law and one son-in-law. They currently do not have any pets and are really happy with that.
